Student Assistance Program

If your child is experiencing barriers to school success, the Student Assistance Program can help.

What is the Student Assistance Program?

SAP is a service that helps teachers, guidance counselors, and other school personnel identify issues that create a barrier to school success. Some of these issues include alcohol or drug use, or mental health, academic, or behavioral concerns. SAP is designed to help students overcome these barriers and achieve success in school.

How can my child get involved in SAP?

Anyone can refer a student to the SAP program. If you are concerned about your child and would like more information about the SAP program, call your child’s Guidance office or contact Tri-County Drug and Alcohol at 1-888-242-1446. Written permission from the parent is required to participate in the program. All information gathered will be kept strictly confidential.
